This is an illustration that was printed in a 1925 newspaper titled “ The Magnet”
Apparently it was printed and sold as a Litho, I don’t have much information about the print. It is Signed RP , also says U.S. Pat. Off.,Copyrite, 1925, by The Chicago Tribune .
The print is framed in a black wood frame. The frame appears very old as well. You can tell by looking at the back of the frame, in my photos, the Nails are inserted , holding the print in place, that was done a long time ago by framers.
I am assuming that this print is from the mid 20s , everything show's that it is!
Needless to say it’s a great illustration of how money and speculation is a never ending process..
Some of the quotes in this illustration are , I wonder if I Can make it Back? Speculation, Real Estate, Florida . Meanwhile men with money bags and big dollar signs are flying and being sucked into a big magnet..
Frame measurements: 20”x17”
The print is in very good condition. I see some dust underneath and what looks like dirty on the corners of the print but I think it’s actually on the glass underneath could also be on the paper. Contemplating having it reframed or maybe just opening up the frame and cleaning the glass?
