Gorgeous Planter by SHAWNEE Glazed pottery. Dimpled or indented with darker circles.

Made in the USA , Zanesville, Oh.
This piece is probably from 1940s . Shawnee did not start signing their pieces until the 1950s. This did have a brown paper attached to the bottom, see photos. It was very old and brittle and did not have any authentication on it , any writing was completely worn. When I cleaned it most of it fell off. I left a small piece of it to authenticate that it had a paper label.

It’s a smaller pot , measuring 6 1/2” wide x 4 1/2” deep x almost 4” tall, rectangular.

Beautiful color of Green with deeper darker dimples, that measure about 1/4”diameter…perfect Midcentury Decor!

Stangl's Antique Gold, introduced during the 1950s, is gaining rapidly in popularity across the nation. The earliest pieces were fashioned with a textured, hand-formed appearance. The green copper stain was applied heavily under the glaze, giving an oxidized effect under the brushed gold luster.

Made in Italy Barrel Jug Bottle with Brass and Cork Stopper .

The glass is Amber with large spotted brown pattern.

See large pontil on bottom.

The bottle is shaped like a barrel with a brass medallion in center circle that Says Caterina De Medici. It has a 2 3/4” neck where the brass corked stopper sits.
The entire barrel and neck and stopper is 10 1/2” tall x aprox 6”dia from center portion of barrel.
